Running in KONTAKT 5 or the free KONTAKTPLAYER, ACTION STRINGS delivers driving string phrases and short motifs with an extremely natural and expansive sound. The flexible instrument provides producers of all skill levels with a inspiring resource for adding drama and movement to film and game scores, as well as rock, pop and urban tracks. Performed by the FILMharmonic Orchestra Prague, Action Strings provides producers with over 14 GB of musical phrases, carefully sampled by renowned score production company Dynamedion. Sony introduces the PMW-300 semi-shoulder mount camcorder

Sony PMW-300 XDCAM photo Sony announced new PMW-300 XDCAM camcorder, equipped with the 1/2-type Exmor Full HD 3CMOS sensors capable of delivering excellent images even in low-light conditions. An evolution of Sony's popular PMW-EX3, the PMW-300 is able to record 50Mbps HD material in MPEG HD422. The high bit rate ensures excellent capture of fast moving objects, while its chroma subsampling feature is perfect for a wide range of video encoding areas such as VFX and green screen applications. The camcorder can also be upgraded in the future (2014) to support Sony's new XAVC codec, extending the lifecycle of the product to ensure maximum return on investment. PMW-300 with a 14x zoom lens will be available in the market in October 2013. PMW-300 with a 16x zoom lens is currently under development targeting to be available within 2013. [source]
