Adobe reveals Adobe Anywhere

Adobe LogoAt the IBC 2012 Conference and Exhibition, Adobe announced it is showcasing new video technologies. Highlights of the show include the reveal of Adobe Anywhere for video. Adobe Anywhere is a modern, collaborative workflow platform that empowers teams using Adobe's professional video tools, including Premiere Pro, to work together across virtually any network, using shared media. Adobe also announced new partnerships with leading media asset management and graphics vendors in broadcast news and sports-such as Chyron, Dalet, EVS and Vizrt-which will give customers improved efficiencies in production. The company also introduced a new promotional offer for individuals and organizations that use alternative nonlinear editing solutions such as Apple Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer and want to switch to Creative Suite CS6 Production Premium and Adobe Creative Cloud. Universal Audio Ocean Ways Studio plug-in screenshot Universal Audio released a new version of the UAD Software package for its UAD Powered Plug-Ins platform and hardware accelerators. It contains a new plug-in, the Ocean Way Studios Plug-In, and two new Direct Developer plug-ins (SPL TwinTube and Sonnox Oxford Inflator). Developed over a three-year period by UA and Allen Sides, Ocean Way Studios ($349US) is an audio processing breakthrough - combining elements of room, microphone, and source modeling so tracks sound as if they were recorded in the legendary studios of Ocean Way Recording. Built upon UA's proprietary Dynamic Room Modeling technology, Ocean Way Studios provides the unique ambience and dispersion properties of various sources in the rooms at Ocean Way, as recorded through a selection of rare vintage microphones that can be dynamically positioned in real time.
