New versions of Adobe's solution for video compositing and editing -
Adobe Effects CS4 and Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 - are equipped with new search (QuickSearch in AE will help locate any element in a comp or project, while Speech Search in Premiere Pro turns spoken dialogue into text-based, timecode-accurate, and searchable data) and metadata features (XMP metadata for asset intelligence in After Effects etc.) In addition, After Effects CS4 enables to import Adobe Photoshop 3D layers and improves the 3D compositing workflow (independent keyframing of x, y, z values, new unified camera); imports layered XFL format for Flash CS4; features 2.5D planar tracking application
