E-on software ships Vue 2015 solutions
E-on software announced the immediate availability of VUE xStream 2015 and VUE Infinite 2015, its newest digital nature solutions for CG professionals. Other products in the VUE 2015 product line -- Pioneer, Esprit, Studio and Complete -- will be released later in Q2 2015. The improvements in VUE 2015 are expansive: from faster rendering, better overall performance, a new non-photo-realistic renderer, a redesigned interface that users can customize to their liking, a new displacement mapping engine and more. There are also a number of features making it ideal for all production environments, including easy exchange of data with ZBrush, support for Alembic and Disney's PTex, and tighter integration with compositing pipelines. VUE xStream 2015 (for 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage, CINEMA 4D. LightWave, and mental ray) retails for $1,995 US (with one year maintenance), and upgrades start at $659 US. VUE Infinite 2015 retails for $1,495 US (includes one year maintenance), with upgrades starting at $539 US. Upgrades from VUE 7.x or newer are also available. The company is currently offering a time-limited introductory special offer. Full licenses are discounted by 40% and upgrades by 25%. [source]
