Magic Bullet Looks: Set the mood on any timeline

18.10.2007

Magic Bullet Looks boxshotRed Giant Software has released Magic Bullet Looks, its color correction tool based on a database of 'film looks', a suite of plug-ins (Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro & Motion, Avid, Adobe Premiere Pro) and Magic Bullet LooksBuilder, a stand-alone software to pre-visualize looks anywhere. The application models the way light moves through a camera with simulated filters, lenses and film stocks that can be adjusted on the fly. Look presets are portable and load into any of the supported host applications. Magic Bullet Looks is the next generation of 'look tools' for Magic Bullet Editors and Magic Bullet Suite, features a brand-new interface, more than 100 Look presets, 36 powerful new tools (that expand upon the 10 simple functions of Magic Bullet Editors' Look Suite), and Magic Bullet Misfire (which adds film damage such as dust and scratches to artificially age your footage). Magic Bullet Looks is available for Windows XP and Mac OS X systems with a price of US $399 (US $99 for upgrades form Magic Bullet Editors / Suite). For more information watch the Getting started video tutorial, read the developer's blog, or download a trial version (requires registration). [source]
