NVIDIA Parallel Nsight for Microsoft Visual Studio developers

NVIDIA logoNVIDIA announced the release of NVIDIA Parallel Nsight software, the industry's first development environment for GPU-accelerated applications that work with Microsoft Visual Studio. Visual Studio developers can now use Parallel Nsight to debug CUDA C/C++, or DirectCompute applications on the GPU using the same familiar tools and techniques as on the CPU. Parallel Nsight also provides the analysis tools that give developers the information required to achieve the highest levels of GPGPU application performance. The software supports Windows HPC Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows Vista, which works closely with Visual Studio 2008 SP1 Professional edition. To download the Standard edition of Parallel Nsight, please go here. Parallel Nsight Standard will be available free of charge in single seat configurations only. Parallel Nsight Professional will be available in single, 5- and 10-seat configurations priced between $349 - $2499 US (version differences). Site licenses will also be available. With Apollo, users can track through UAD Powered Plug-Ins in real-time with nearly instant sub-2ms latency, via a professional 18 x 24 FireWire/Thunderbolt-ready (Thunderbolt Option Card sold separately) audio interface that delivers 24-bit/192 kHz sound quality. Apollo's connectivity includes 4 digitally controlled analog mic preamps, 8 balanced line inputs and outputs, dual front-panel JFET DIs, digitally-controlled analog monitor outputs, 8 channels of ADAT, 2 channels of S/PDIF, word clock I/O, FireWire 800 (standard) plus a Thunderbolt expansion bay. The Apollo will be available in both DUO CORE and QUAD CORE processing formats (with either two or four Analog Devices SHARC processors, respectively), shipping in the first quarter of 2012 with an estimated street price of $1,999 US and $2,499 US, respectively.
