Vizrt to introduce Viz Trio One-Box at NAB 2010

Vizrt Viz Trio screenshot At the 2010 National Association of Broadcasters show (from April 10-15, 2010 in Las Vegas), digital media content production tools developer Vizrt will showcase Viz Trio One-Box - the latest version of its Viz Trio real-time 3D graphics and animation system. Viz Trio allows artists and operators to deliver creative and visually complex graphical presentations that enhance live sports, news, and specials. Viz Trio previously required two standard desktop PCs to operate - one for Trio client and one for its powerful companion renderer Viz Engine. With Viz Trio One-Box, Viz Trio as well as the latest Viz Engine, runs on a single PC with two graphics cards on-board. MOTU debuts Digital Performer for Windows

MOTU Digital Performer 8 screenshot MOTU has unveiled Digital Performer version 8, a major upgrade to their flagship audio workstation software. Digital Performer 8 will be available for both Mac OS X and Windows 7 systems (32- as well as 64-bit versions), and will add many new features, including a new video playback engine, Punch Guard confidence recording, 14 new user interface themes, and 15 new included plug-ins. Among the plug-ins to be included with DP8 are two new classic guitar amp models, a bass cabinet model, several classic guitar pedals, modeled analog delay, a multi-band dynamic equalizer, a de-esser, the Subkick kick drum enhancer, and Springamabob, a modeled vintage spring reverb processor.
