ZBrush 4R3 - released!

29.02.2012 Pixologic, Inc. released a new version of ZBrush, its flagship 3D painting and modeling application for Windows and Mac OS X. The new 4R3 version, released shortly after the introduction of 4R2b, adds several new and enhanced features, including advancements to FiberMesh and NoiseMaker modules, 16-bit or 32-bit Vector Displacement Map export using TIFF and OpenEXR formats, Convert BPR to Geo feature that turns the Fibers and MicroMesh objects into real geometry, the ability to organize sub-palettes with the new UI Groups, and more. ZBrush 4R3 is a free update for all registered users. For anyone who already has ZBrush 4R2 or 4R2b installed, an Updater is now available at the Pixologic Download Center. In addition to enhancing the BPR capabilities of ZBrush, this new version also added innovative features such as FiberMesh and MicroMesh. Today, Pixologic is announcing the upcoming release of ZBrush 4R3, with advancements to FiberMesh, the ability to export both 16-bit and 32-bit Vector Displacement maps, the NoiseMaker plug-in with over 25 parametric generators, interface enhancements, automatic updating functionality, and more. Version 4R2b is scheduled for release in January 23th, 2012 as a free update for all registered users. In addition to fixes, the new version will also introduce FiberMesh, a tool designed to quickly create hair and other fibers. FiberMesh will create a fully sculptable PolyMesh 3D object with the possibility to export or render it using the Best-Preview-Render renderer.
